We are seeking an analytical and organized professional to act as the bridge between the Region and the stake holders within the bank . The focus is on understanding and execution of activities that support and strengthen the business , support the Regional Head . The function is focused on supporting the region via coordinating and maintain data ,running internal campaigns and tracking performances .The role requires events execution, analyzing the outcomes for marketing and operational initiatives and track the productivity of teams.

 

Key Responsibilities — Business Development Manager (BDM)

  • Business & Branch Interface: Serve as the primary coordination layer across business teams, branches, Relationship Managers (RMs), product teams, and senior leadership to ensure reliable execution of initiatives.
  • Initiative Execution & Growth Enablement: Orchestrate campaign rollouts, product activations, contests, and strategic program across branches; drive adoption and delivery against defined outcomes.
  • Events & Engagement Delivery: Plan and deliver branch/customer events, employee engagement forums, campaigns, and recognition activities with clear objectives and post-event tracking.
  • Networking & Knowledge Cadence: Set up and run recurring connect calls (networking, business updates, product deep-dives, best-practice sharing) across stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring & Remediation: Track branch/RM performance KPIs, perform gap analysis, and drive corrective action plans with owners and timelines.
  • Target Cascade & Alignment: Translate targets, priorities, and management directives into branch-level deliverables with explicit timelines and checkpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate dependencies across Wealth, Insurance, Assets, Cards, Liabilities, Operations, HR, and other support teams to unblock delivery.
  • MIS & Reporting: Maintain Regional level MIS, dashboards, and trackers (performance, hiring, events), ensuring data quality, version control, and timely dissemination.
  • Issue Management & Escalation: Identify execution/operational defects, route to the appropriate teams for resolution, and escalate risks where required.
  • Communication & Closure Tracking: Push timely updates (product changes, circulars, priorities) and maintain action tracking to closure.
  • Governance & Review Rhythm: Run structured business reviews with the Regional head for branches; capture action items, owners, and due dates, and monitor completion.
  • Best-Practice Replication: Identify high-performing plays and standardize/scale them across the network.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective working relationships with Branch Managers, RMs, HR, product teams, Operations, and senior leadership.
  • Opportunity Analysis: Assess branch-level business and capacity signals and recommend targeted interventions to improve productivity and growth.
  • Hiring Coordination: Manage branch workforce demand in coordination with HR/recruitment—track open roles, progress candidates through the pipeline, and ensure timely position closure.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2-3 Years of experience ; Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ finance /marketing or related field
  • Prior experience in event coordination, sales operations, or business analytics—preferably in the financial or banking sector.
  • Strong people management and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound knowledge of affluent banking products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • High ownership, accountability, and ability to work with teams

 

SKILL:

 

  • Advanced Excel proficiency in Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) to analyze and present large datasets.
  • Strong capability in designing high-impact, professional presentations (using PowerPoint/ Google Slides)
  • Effective communication and E -mail drafting capabilities

 

Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage. 

 

  • Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
