We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the India IWPB Marketing team.
Job Introduction
The Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.
This role will be responsible to strategise and lead the Marketing initiatives for HSBC’s Wealth Mangement Services provided to clients of HSBC India . The scope involves designing campaigns for services provided from onshore and offshore locations.
Principal Responsibilities
This is a senior and strategic role to drive the marketing strategy and execution for HSBC’s wealth management in IWPB India’s marketing team. The responsibility covers the marketing interventions required for lifecycle of the customer from acquisition to on boarding to engagement to activation and retention
Key tasks are :
- Customer activity: Responsible for driving wealth penetration in new-to-bank and existing bank customers using customer insights and analytics.
- Run campaigns and marketing initiatives to achieve target customer activity rates for existing and new wealth feature and product launches. This would include support for CLCM, targeted messaging across owned and paid media. Also, co-ordinate with regional /global teams for executing regional/global campaigns in India.
- Thought leadership: Use customer insights, appropriate channels and product knowledge to drive thought leadership for wealth management in the HNI /UHNI space.
- Assessment and deployment of all relevant offline and online media for all/any campaign, including :
- Paid, owned and earned
- Website traffic and engagement on HSBC website wealth pages through SEO initiatives
- Internet and mobile banking
- Content – blogs/vlogs/social/partnership/influencer led
- Execute ad hoc need based campaigns as per business requirements
- Wealth products include investments, insurance, third party products and products of offshore entities as would be allowed by regulatory norms.
- Data and insights led approach to campaign creation and marketing strategy development
Education Qualifications / Certifications and Requirements :
- Appropriate graduate or a post graduate degree in Marketing from a reputed institute
- 7 + years of strong marketing experience in reputed companies / consumer banks/financial institutions, handling wealth management products
- Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals (digital and social marketing, ATL/BTL, events) and campaign management and agency management experience
- Understanding of wealth products and services, preferably in the affluent segment
- Ownership , ability to work in cross functional teams, should be initiative driven and be able to articulate campaign thought for stakeholders.
