We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Relationship Manager, Global Network Banking, India. Based in Mumbai.
Principal Responsibilities
- Business generation oriented approach to assist HSBC attain its growth. Recognize and escalate business and cross sell opportunities to the RMs and work with the RM in converting the opportunities.
- Ensure implementation of all audit and regulatory recommendations.
- Ensure top notch Housekeeping of clients wrt to timely RMT closures.
- Liaise with various internal departments (Risk, credit operations, Global Payments solutions, Global Trade Solutions) and ensure efficient servicing of corporate customers.
- Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory/internal compliances, legal, financial crime compliance requirements for the portfolio. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders for ensuring account operations, opening and KYC remediation’s are completed on time.
- Collation of various MIS as per requirement from time to time.
- Prepare quality, creditworthy new and review business proposals within agreed deadlines for submission to the approval authorities and manage the approval and documentation process end to end.
- Co-ordinate with clients for financial information, security documentation, and for any other day to day operations related matters.
- Monitor the credit quality of the portfolio and take timely remedial measures as applicable.
Qualifications
- 18 months+ of relevant experience in client management/corporate banking role.
- Sound commercial banking skills including a working knowledge of commercial banking products, key market sectors, local regulatory environment and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to work on fast turnarounds, tight deadlines & handle competing priorities.
- Qualified Chartered Account or Masters in Business Administration from a reputable tier 1 school.
Additional Notes :
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required
