Business Descriptor:
The Industrial Trainee role is based within Finance function of HSBC Professional Services (India) Private Limited “HPSI”.
The role requires that the individual;
- to support in posting daily accounting entries and printing of vouchers/documents etc.
- to support in Bank Reconciliations and banking activities.
- to help in month end procedures eg. Accruals, Prepaid expenses, settlement of advances etc.
- to do documentation for all foreign remittance, if any
- to support the preparation of MIS and group submissions.
- to assist in preparing various schedules required for statutory/tax/transfer pricing audit requirements
- To assist in compiling data for tax authorities submissions
- to assist in misc. administrative activities, as and when required.
Elligibility Criteria

The candidate should be pursuing chartered accountancy course with The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India and have completed 1 years of his CA articleship training.

India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
- Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
- INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework.
Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
Qualifications :
Skills / Experience Required
- Ability to analyse, interpret and understand financial data and accounting concepts
- Basic Knowledge of financial services industry
- Hands on experience of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic understanding of the regulatory frameworks (mainly accounting standards and tax laws) and compliance requirements associated with financial services
- Able to communicate well in English and local languages
- A flexible and open approach to work
