Principal responsibilities

  • Lead a team to design, develop and implement IT solutions, esp on Regulatory Trade Reporting and Central Clearing to meet business users' requirements.
  • Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation.
  • Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
  • Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
  • Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling and practices adoption
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams for development and incident management
  • Work closely with Global infrastructure and engineering team to build the solution

 

Requirements

  • Min 5 years of experience in project management, system design and implementation
  • Strong exposure to RHEL, DB2,
  • Solid knowledge and experience in RHEL, Java,  Springboot, WAS, Liberty, DB2 and Oracle database.
  • Solid experience in writing and conducting Unit Tests and UI tests, etc.
  • Good analytical, design and problem solving skills.
  • Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data and understand the implications.
  • Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, version control, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), DevOps
  • Fluent Mandarin / English speaking and professional business writing skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new concept, business models, and technologies.
