We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, VAS and Partnership.

 Principal responsibilities

• As part of the Life Product Management team, develop and deliver the channel proposition strategy, translating growth ambitions into a clear roadmap across products, segments and key initiatives to achieve business targets.
• Drive customer-led innovation by identifying, designing and launching valued-added services (VAS) that enhance the customer proposition and support commercial outcomes.
• Lead go-to-market execution for new and enhanced VAS, including proposition positioning, channel readiness, launch planning and post-launch optimization.
• Own end-to-end VAS lifecycle management (design, launch, in-life management, optimisation and retirement), ensuring clear success measures and service standards.
• Implement and ensure ongoing oversight to meet the global governance framework, any internal and regulatory governance requirements.
• Establish and conduct continuous monitoring, ensuring VAS delivers customer value and fair outcomes (including MI, performance analysis, customer feedback).
• Work with different internal bank and global stakeholders to co-design bank specific propositions and VAS.
• Engage with industry bodies to keep abreast of local market trends and regulatory developments impacting VAS, contribute local insights into regional/ global positions and consultations where appropriate.
• Build strong relationships and understanding with both of our local and global insurance business and bank partners and identify business opportunities.
• Provide ad hoc support in projects and initiatives as assigned. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in life insurance product development, innovation, or strategy, preferably with a focus on value-added services.
• Experience in partnership negotiations (reinsurer, brokers, tech providers).
• University degree in Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Strong presence with senior stakeholders, able to communicate independently and effectively with senior management of distribution teams and other key stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and launching innovative VAS and/or propositions in Hong Kong and GBA, including end-to-end ownership from concept through launch and optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage business as usual tasks while also progressing elements of various projects.
• Practical experience working alongside global product/ business management teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, project management and analytical skills.
• Team management experience with good leadership skills is preferred.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
• Excellent communication, proficiency in both English and Chinese.
