We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Investment Manager.
 
Principal Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of investment strategies for all Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited’s shareholders and policyholders funds, in particular in the development and review of Strategic Asset Allocation and Target Asset Allocation to optimize the risk/ return profile.
• Lead fixed income team on fixed income asset coverage, including investment grade bond, securitized credit, infradebt and private credit. And explore, evaluate and implement new investment initiatives within Investment Hub structure.
• Oversee asset managers on investment strategy execution, risk monitoring and investment performance along investment outsourcing framework.
• Build and maintain a sound investment risk framework for all investment risks and ensure corporate governance standards are met.
• Recommend and implement appropriate investment policies, fund structures and investment vehicles to maximize investment efficiency, and monitor the funds against the performance measures and risk limits set out.
• Work with middle office and operation team to oversee and support the regular investment management information reporting and monitor the fund performance against the benchmark and risk limits set out.
• Deliver fair outcomes for customers and stakeholders, and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
• Manage relationships with fund managers, investment bankers, consultants, Actuary, Finance, Product, Risk, Group Insurance and other areas in relation to the investment matters.

Requirements

• University graduate in business administration, investment and finance related discipline; CFA/ Fellow of a recognized actuarial organization is an advantage
• Minimum of 10 years' working experience in insurance or investment industry
• Strong investment knowledge, practical experience of investment & Asset Liability Management in an insurance context an advantage
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, practical experience using Excel, VBA and stochastic modeling techniques an advantage
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to think “outside the box” and conceptualize solutions to complex issues
• Innovative and strategic thinker, results oriented
• Excellent communication skills, proficiency in both Chinese and English
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
