We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Manager to lead the management and evolution of our enterprise infrastructure DevOps team across Hong Kong and Mainland China. This role is responsible for overseeing the deployment, stability, and scalability of advanced technologies—including on-premises Operating System, Middleware, Database, and Cloud Technologies with open-source system exposure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational continuity, supporting strategic business initiatives, and driving the long-term infrastructure vision for the bank.

Principal responsibilities

• Management of New Technologies:
  Oversee the deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise-grade technologies (Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux, IKP, Spring Boot), ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives and technology standards.

• DevOps & Automation:
  Drive and implement CI/CD pipelines, ansible playbooks and infrastructure as code practices, champion automation to improve efficiency , reduce risk, and accelerate delivery.

• Operational Continuity:
  Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and operational excellence across all infrastructure platforms supporting critical banking services. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and service disruptions.

• Strategic Initiative Support:
  Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to support the integration of new tools and technologies into the bank’s infrastructure, enabling the delivery of innovative and reliable banking services.

• Long-Term Vision & Innovation:
  Develop and execute a roadmap to future-proof the bank’s infrastructure. Drive adoption of new standards, support innovation, and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

• Team Leadership:
  Work with Head of Enterprise Infrastructure to lead and mentor a cross-regional team of infrastructure and DevOps professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and open-mindedness.

• Governance & Compliance:
  Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with bank policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven hands-on experience in multiple areas among Operating System(Windows/Linux/Unix), database(Oracle/ PostgreSQL, DB2/ MongoDB).
• Knowledge and experience in, DevOps (Github, Ansible, Terraform), middleware(Redis/Kafka/MQ), open-sources platform(IKP/ Spring Boot/Apache) or cloud areas.(AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical strategic IT initiatives in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
