Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control - Credit Control Services
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Collections (Secured Collections).
Principal responsibilities
- Lead a team of staff to manage all activities related to debt collection of mortgage, secured and SME loan products
- Direct and maintain a highly productive and motivated in-house collection team to achieve/out-perform the expected delinquent flow rate and recoveries
- Provide prompt responses and recommendations on credit policies to adapt to the fast and changing market
- Plan and co-ordinate a wide range of projects, operation, system and manpower related issues to ensure smooth delivery of credit collection services
- Motivate team members and provide adequate training and job rotations
- Ensure adherence to legal and Group regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices
Requirements
- University degree in Business or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications/experience
- Minimum 6 years of managerial experience in debt collections or credit risk, in relation to retail banking products
- Good understanding of portfolio management technique including analytics
- Strong interpersonal /leadership skills Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
