Main Responsibilities

Oversee pre-trade and post-trade controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Host governance meetings to discuss and sort out compliance issues, risk management, and operational efficiencies.

Monitor and ensure compliance with existing business practices and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
-
Study new regulations and to review the current compliance controls and identify proper actions for improvement
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements in business controls.

Provide insights and recommendations to enhance governance frameworks within the merchant business division.

Work with third parties on compliance related outsourced task.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk management, or related disciplines
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in governance, risk management, or business control within the financial services industry.

Familiarity with payment system architectures or risk management systems
-
Proven track record of implementing effective business control measures and ensuring compliance.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry best practices and risk management practices in wealth management or commercial account.

Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), to articulate solutions to merchants and stakeholders

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on results.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
