We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Actuarial Manager - Pricing, reporting to Senior Manager and Actuary, Products.

Principal responsibilities

• Product pricing including feasibility study on product development, modelling and assumption setting with justifications and recommendation, reinsurance negotiation, preparing/reviewing pricing documents with limitation logs and expert judgment logs and approval papers.  Able to explain the issues and escalate whenever (s)he sees the need
• Overseeing the pricing results to ensure proper pricing, complying with pricing guideline and Group and Global frameworks.
• Review profitability of portfolio of products and provide recommendations to products management.
• Playing a key role in reinsurance negotiation and arrangement to ensure adequate risk control. 
• Preparing management information reports and analysis (e.g. Annual profitability review, in-depth product review or analysis & etc.)

Requirements

• University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
• Qualified actuary under one of the International recognized actuarial societies
• In-depth knowledge of life and retirement industry and products
• Excellent presentation, communication, as well as proficient analytical skills
• Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively
• Strong problem solving skills and business sense
