The Opportunity
As a member of our Liquidity Asset Management sales team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of HSBC’s global client base. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial markets, working alongside industry experts in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
You’ll assist in identifying and engaging prospective institutional clients, support the delivery of tailored investment solutions, and contribute to strategic sales initiatives. As our Liquidity Sales, Analyst, you will:
- Support the sales team in identifying and engaging prospective institutional clients
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
- Contribute to the execution of strategic sales initiatives and campaigns
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product specialists and portfolio managers, to deliver tailored investment solutions
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies
- Participate in client calls and in-person meetings to help drive asset growth
- Respond to client enquiries and provide timely, accurate information
- Follow up on client meetings and action items
- Monitor industry trends and share relevant insights with the team
- Help manage client servicing needs in coordination with service teams
- Support execution of campaigns and cross-sell initiatives
- Uphold HSBC’s values by fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Maintain and update client databases and sales activity records
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Direct experience in financial services, asset management, corporate banking, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data
- Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and task prioritization
- Collaborative spirit, demonstrating teamwork and a willingness to learn from others
- Problem-solving abilities with a resourceful, solutions-oriented attitude
- High level of professionalism and integrity, reflecting HSBC’s values
- Adaptability and openness to feedback in a dynamic, evolving market
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modelling
- Strong interest in financial markets and a genuine desire to develop a career in asset management
- Self-starter mentality with strong intellectual curiosity
- FINRA Series 7/63 licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Experience engaging with senior executive stakeholders and C-suite decision makers
- Additional language proficiency, especially in major global markets, is a plus

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
