We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a (Manager Human Resources)
In this role you will:
• Support to deliver the local people agenda in line with people strategy, ensuring strong execution across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain HSBC recruitment standards in a competitive labour market, co-ordinating end-to-end hiring activities and managing recruitment agency support where required.
• Co-ordinate learning and development initiatives and employee engagement activities to strengthen capability, high performance, engagement and retention.
• Support implementation of transformation and initiatives locally, driving adoption of processes, systems and ways of working.
• Monitor and report key metrics and insights in partnership with the business to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Partner with Business Risk Control stakeholders to maintain an effective control environment, including risk mitigation activities and control matrix requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures and local legal/regulatory requirements, including accurate people records and required reporting.
• Manage third-party vendors locally, including onboarding, supplier records, SLA/performance tracking, resolution and supporting regular review, and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Co-ordinate vendor invoicing and payments by validating charges against agreed terms and ensuring correct cost allocation
To be successful you will need:
• University graduate, preferably with a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a Business related discipline
• With broad generalist human resources experience ideally in finance or banking
• Good interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to interface with managers and colleagues at all levels across businesses and the region. Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills will be required
• Broad knowledge of human resources practices and policies is essential. Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in financial services in Macau will be an advantage
• Challenge thought processes, encourage consideration of different perspectives, and encourage empathy to help leaders understand the behaviors of others.
