The opportunity: Audit Manager – Permanent contract

What you will do:
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit Luxembourg, you will be responsible for managing audit assignments and ensuring the planning and delivery of the annual audit plan within expected timelines, standards, methodology, budget, and best practices.
In this role, you will (but not limited to):
- Identify key themes and forward-looking risks through continuous monitoring, data analytics, and agile audit tools.
- Monitor changes to HSBC’s internal policies and the regulatory environment, ensuring their proper application.
- Write objective, structured and clear audit deliverables.
- Organize audit meetings and document minutes.
- Follow up and validate the closure of audit issues.
- Support the production of audit reports.
You should apply if you have:
- Relevant experience in the financial services, consultancy, or external audit.
- Applicable regulatory experience and product knowledge.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, accounting, mathematics, or social sciences.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CFE, ACAMS, or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Proficiency in applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and interpret complex scenarios.
- Ability to deliver smart, simple, and pragmatic solutions.
- Fluency in English and French.
