• Serve as the primary point of contact for XVA Trading on platform enhancements and change delivery; manage priorities, scope, milestones and dependencies
• Lead the end-to-end change lifecycle: requirements, solution design, build oversight, testing strategy, release governance, and post-release support
• Partner with stakeholders across Trading, Quants, Technology, Market/Credit Risk, Finance, Operations and Control functions to deliver outcomes and manage risk
• Drive improvements to XVA capabilities (e.g., CVA/FVA/FCA/KVA methodologies, sensitivities, workflows, reporting) and reduce manual processes / operational risk
• Ensure changes meet HSBC standards for controls, auditability, documentation, and model/change governance
• Uphold the HSBC Code of Conduct, ensuring fair customer outcomes and orderly, transparent market operation
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Extensive experience in product management, business analysis, change delivery, or technology delivery within Markets/Front Office (bank or financial institution)
• Strong understanding of derivatives lifecycle and the front-to-back impacts of change (risk, finance, operations)
• Working knowledge of XVA concepts (e.g., CVA/FVA/FCA/KVA), key inputs, sensitivities and reporting implications
• Proven track record delivering across complex multi-system environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage credibly with Trading, Quants and Technology
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and delivery mindset; able to operate under pressure
• Familiarity with SA-CVA / FRTB and/or change governance in model/risk-controlled environments
• Exposure to credit curves / conventions (e.g., CDS mapping) and/or cross-asset derivatives (IRS, CCS, FX, Inflation)
