The role of Frontline Business Performance Manager is a broad role that will ensure key processes, initiatives and activities that support the management, growth and governance of Frontline Teams across Relationship Banking, Strategic Fund Solutions and the Chief Commercial Office in the UK Innovation Bank. The role holder will need to be dynamic individual, comfortable working across a wide remit of activities, working with teams across the Innovation Bank, offshore teams, vendors and colleagues in HSBC Group to ensure delivery of the Frontline Business agenda.
The Business Performance Manager will own delivery of activities including strategic initiatives to drive Frontline productivity, financial results, FTE management and planning, budget management, issues management, preparation of reports and supporting Frontline Business Heads with strategic planning and problem solving. Given the nature of the role the individual will need to use discretion and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
The role holder will need a good understanding of the innovation economy and how our Frontline Teams serve it, knowledge of the growth drivers for the HSBC Innovation Banking UK business, proven experience managing a varied workload broad agenda and collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders. Effective communication, adaptability and managing multiple priorities will be important attributes. The role holder will often represent the Frontline Teams in various internal forums and may at times serve as a delegate for the Head of Frontline Business Performance & Delivery in internal meetings.
What you can expect to be doing:
Establish, manage and enhance key processes that support the cadence and effective running of the HINV Frontline Teams
Own and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the productivity of client facing colleagues and support the growth agenda
Support the FTE and budget management processes and planning across the Frontline Teams
Own resolution of issues as they arise on behalf of the business as needed
Work effectively as a team with other Business Performance Manager’s and Frontline teammates
Support delivery of key Frontline reports as needed for business management purposes or submission to Exco, Committees or Board e.g. Client & Market Update
Requirements:
Proven Resilience – able to deal with multiple priorities and ambiguity, managing challenging situations and issues
Change Management & Optimisation – able to drive tangible improvements in workflows and processes across the Frontline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Stakeholder management – able to work with a wide range of stakeholders and senior management across functions
Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills
Experience managing change in a sales/Frontline environment and a track record of managing business risk and governance activity is preferable

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office, with a current requirement to be in the office 2 days per week
