VP/Director Wealth Sales - Institutional Sales

We are currently seeking a professional to join our Institutional Client Wealth team as a VP/Director.
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. In this role you will be expected to:
- Provide solutions for Structured Equity Derivatives (SED’S) to satisfy investment needs.
- Develop mainly origination and some ‘new to bank’ opportunities with UK & Swiss based Private Banks and Wealth Managers
- Leverage on HSBC’s competitive platform to reinforce existing strong partnerships.
- Participate in the whole trade life cycle: term-sheet generation, pricing, booking, secondary market, after-trade follow up.
- Accountable for sales targets associated with their portfolio
- Work in line with all HSBC Group Policies, regulatory requirements and HSBC Global Standards at all time.
To be successful you will demonstrate the following:
- You must Have a deep knowledge of SED’s and how they are structured
- French language skills are highly desirable
- Product knowledge, pricing and selling QIS Investment strategies
- It is a pre-requisite that you have gained extensive experience of working with Private Banks, Wealth Managers and how they support the investment needs of their client base
- Outstanding relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders with an ability to engender the trust and confidence of a trusted advisor
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to understand the structures of complex organisations and successfully navigate commercial negotiations.
- Good knowledge of financial services Risk & Governance and the appropriate controls used in a Front Office setting
