HSBC is seeking talented Senior UX designers capable of leading the design and user experience of HSBC Private Banking products. Candidates need to have a strong sense of ownership, passion to provide great customer experiences and excellent troubleshooting skills even when in high-pressure situations. They must also have experience in leading the entire end to end lifecycle of the product conception and design. This will also include mentoring and developing other Designers within the team as well as stakeholders.
We have multiple positions available to join this team on a Fixed Term Contract basis ranging from 7-12 months in duration.

In this role you will:
- Use business requirements and market research, metrics, usability findings and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed design patterns that scale for your team and influence other designers
- Create information architecture, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes for new applications and experiences.
- Eloquently and simply present, explain and justify design solutions and decisions to multidisciplinary teams
- Take ownership of all your products and continually look to understand your successes and failures and always look for ways to iterate and improve your products and yourself.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Financial Services Experience - desirable
- Extensive experience as a Senior UX / UI designer or similar role
- Experience designing and building mobile and/or web applications or other software
- Fluency in best practices for information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design processes, and user experience principles
- Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust quickly amongst peers and leadership.
This role can be based in London, Birmingham or Sheffield.
