This role is based within the Global Treasury Liquidity Reporting team in UK. The role sits within Global Treasury to provide lead/support on Liquidity Policy Interpretation and help the entity Risk/Report Owner for Liquidity Reports in the execution of their obligations for Liquidity under the PRA and EBA regimes.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Perform First line PRA and EBA Regulatory Reporting Policy Interpretation on complex transactions and new products to ensure compliance with Group Regulatory policies.
  • Research policy changes in collaboration with Group Regulatory Policy and Treasury Risk Management to formulate First Line policy opinions.
  • Assist in global Interpretation and delivery Working Group, including strong engagement with regional Treasury teams and Global business lines to calculate policy impact on liquidity metrics and business activities.
  • Identify commercial opportunities in new and existing policies and sponsor policy changes to realise benefits.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to delivery teams on the implementation of new regulatory requirements, tracking and driving group-wide delivery of policies.
  • Support regulatory engagement through attendance of PRA meeting as required and preparing responses to recurring regulatory assessments (e.g. LSREP).
  • Ensure all key interpretations are subject to appropriate governance in conjunction with Global Regulatory Policy.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Strong technical knowledge of Liquidity prudential regulations by key bodies e.g. The Basel Committee (‘BCBS’), UK/PRA is essential.
  • Proven ability to act as an advisor and challenger to internal stakeholders on all aspects of prudential regulatory policy, with a specific focus on Liquidity Policy.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines to meet weekly & other regulatory deadlines.
  • Highly analytical with an ability to breakdown complex data and communicate ths to others.
  • Professional approach and presentation, with an ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders including senior management.
