We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Sales Manager covering priority clients in the Institutional Clients Group (ICG), based in London, UK.
Our client portfolio includes industry leaders and flagship clients with large and often complex operations across multiple countries. The GTS ICG team is responsible for the origination of GTS transactions across our Institutional client base covering Bank clients and non-bank Institutional clients in Financial Sponsors, Asset Managers, Insurance, Paytech and Public Sector (PS).
This role will focus on Non-Bank Institutional clients.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for driving key client relationships directly and by coordinating the sales activity in the UK for non bank institutional clients across Financial Sponsors, Asset Managers, Insurance, Paytech and Public Sector (PS).
- Manage the structuring and sale of highly customized cross-border GTS solutions, products, services to the client portfolio.
- Ideate and co-create innovative, non-vanilla trade finance solutions for clients in the various segments.
- Maintain strong awareness of competitor, economic, political and regulatory environments impacting the business.
- Deliver ambitious targets aiming to double the size of the revenues by 2027.
- Actively drive effective wallet planning and pro-active sourcing of new sales business across the client portfolio.
- Drive the acquisition of new customer mandates and complex deals, engage with the clients with the aim to originate business opportunities
- Engage with Relationship Bankers on client calls and account planning sessions, navigate complex stakeholders to deliver a best of class clients experience for key strategic and sensitive relationships
- Strategize and commercialize our ambition for the ICG segment.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of trade finance products and market solutions
- Sector knowledge of the different Institutional clients and their banking needs
- Knowledge of Credit & Risk including techniques to mitigate risk
- Very strong MS Excel and MS Power Point tools
- Experience in working in intellectually demanding and agile multinational teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, presentation and decision making skills
- Good organisational skills with an ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
The base location for this role is London with a Hybrid working model.
