We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Manager, Receivables Finance LRRD Product Owner.

 

The Senior Product Manager – HRD Development is responsible for the technology-led design and delivery of HSBC’ HSBC Receivables Discounting “HRD” system and its integration into HTS. The role will report to the Senior Product Manager product owner of HRD. There will be additional responsibilities as directed by the senior manager. Operating within the GTS design and development organisation, the role defines requirements, owns the agile delivery backlog, and ensures solutions are scalable, controlled, and aligned with the commercial roadmap.

 

In this role, you will:

  • HRD is currently processed into HSBC backend systems through IFAI. The role is responsible for design and implementation of a future state in which HRD processes through HSBC Trade Solutions platform “HTS”. The target is to achieve the first site by 2027 and migration of all sites to a timetable you will develop and agree. This will require translation of business objectives into technology user stories and feature sets for HRD and working with IT to develop and deploy the solution.
  • Support the product owner in the development of HRD. This requires identification of functional improvements, validation of the business case and definition of user stories and feature sets
  • Ensure documentation and traceability of controls in all build activity.
  • Partner with transformation and technology teams to deliver the best solutions for clients and for HSBC.
  • Working with IT develop and document the processing functionality that IFAI performs for HRD and design the future state. You will be accountable for your part in delivery
  • Coordinate with local product teams to validate requirements and the business case
  • Prepare training for users of the system. Contribute to marketing and sales enablement efforts for internal and external audiences.
  • Work with risk stewards to ensure the integrity of the solution

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • A track record of delivery with projects of equivalent size and complexity. You must be able to identify and validate requirements and document them for use by IT. You must be meticulous;
  • Knowledge of IFAI will be an advantage
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels internally and externally
  • Agile delivery and backlog management expertise
  • Strong stakeholder management- you must keep stakeholders informed and aligned plus call out disagreement and difference

 

The base location of this role is London operating a Hybrid working model.
