We’re seeking a data-driven, commercially astute Senior Manager to help develop and lead our Marketing Analytics & Performance Reporting capability. This role sits within within the Global CIB Marketing team and specifically in the CIB Digital Marketing Team, helping to deliver the digital marketing strategy for CIB globally. It is pivotal in helping marketing teams and the business, transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic marketing decisions, optimize customer engagement, and influence business outcomes.

You’ll be hands-on with analytics—coding, modelling, and storytelling—while also steering onshore and offshore analysts who are dedicated to helping develop our analytics and reporting capability. This is a key growth area for CIB Marketing, one that is essential to us successfully being customer centric, growth partner for the CIB Business.

Strategic Analytics Leadership

  • Lead the development of the end-to-end marketing analytics roadmap, aligning with business goals and campaign strategies 
  • Translate complex commercial challenges into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions 
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and influence 
  • Lead and collaborate with onshore and offshore analytics capability and build relationships with other analytics teams across the organisation

Advanced Modelling & Segmentation

  • Work closely with the Business Marketing and Clients & Sector teams to develop and refine marketing customer segmentation strategies using behavioural, demographic, and transactional data 
  • Build and maintain propensity models to predict customer actions and optimize targeting 
  • Lead multi-touch attribution modelling to evaluate marketing channel effectiveness 

Performance Reporting & Optimization

  • Support the Marketing Planning & Performance team in developing and delivery a reporting and performance framework that articulates the impact and performance of marketing activity
  • Design and deliver performance dashboards and reporting frameworks across campaigns and channels 
  • Partner with Planning & Performance, finance and commercial teams to align marketing KPIs with business impact 

Technical Execution

  • Write and maintain robust, scalable code (SQL, Python, R, or similar) to extract, transform, and analyse data 
  • Champion best practices in data governance, reproducibility, and automation 
  • Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Highly experienced in marketing analytics, ideally in a fast-paced, data-rich environment
  • Experience of Marketing Performance models and reporting
  • Strong coding skills in SQL and at least one statistical language (Python, R) 
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, predictive modelling, and attribution techniques 
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills and the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders 
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of translating analytics into business impact 
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) 
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus 
  • Leadership experience—mentoring analysts and managing cross-functional projects
