We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Financial Services Regulatory Legal team in Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB). • UK qualified lawyer with relevant extensive experience at a comparable institution or law firm, with a strong of understanding UK and EU regulatory changes and their implementation (ideally including on sustainability- and banking-related developments)
  • Knowledge of the UK and EU regulatory licensing perimeter and key existing UK and EU regulations impacting wholesale financial markets (e.g., FSMA, MiFID/MiFIR, MAR, EMIR, CRD, AIFMD/UCITS, etc.)
  • Ability to work with individuals at different levels of seniority, with the ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with stakeholder/customers
  • Practical and pragmatic, with the ability to appropriately balance legal risks with commercial considerations.
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and support complex matters with limited supervision
