HSBC Asset Management (AM), the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. HSBC Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.
We have an opportunity within HSBC Asset Management for a Senior Institutional and Product Marketing manager.
In this role you will:
- Build strategic marketing plans to grow awareness of our brand/capabilities and increase engagement across key client segments.
- Develop clear briefs to drive the efficient delivery of planned activity, ensuring it is tracked and measured to demonstrate effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with investment teams, sales and other local and global marketing teams to plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns and thought leadership programmes.
- Manage the delivery of high-quality events aligned with our marketing strategy.
- Work closely with global marketing teams to tailor global initiatives including website content, emails, social media, video and webinars to meet the needs and expectations of our key client segments.
- Ensure marketing materials meet our brand guidelines and are compliant with FCA regulations.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong institutional/product marketing background gained within asset management is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and adept at selecting the appropriate messaging style and content to achieve the maximum impact is essential.
- Strong analytical skills including working with financial models and an understanding of the fundamentals of investment appraisal.
- Commercially led analytical lens with the ability to take a wide range to information and able to succinctly communicate it in a compelling manner.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively drive continual learning in self and others
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of seniority across the business.
