We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Fraud Risk Manager.

 

You’ll be responsible for Cross Border and Domestic Payments Fraud, you'll pioneer techniques and technology that protect our business & our customers from the impact of fraud, whilst balancing operational efficiencies and customer experience.

In this role you’ll:

  • Help to shape the payment fraud strategy, enabling Global Payments Solutions to clearly, consistently and comprehensively articulate the fraud risk profile of the business including the integrity of processes and controls
  • Partner with central Fraud Risk Management & Client Connectivity to provide thought leadership to define and execute control design & implementation activity across payment fraud
  • Review existing framework to proactively identify Payment Fraud & Security controls in new products implemented by the organization and challenge existing approaches
  • Leverage existing Fraud read across processes and uplift to ensure that the global control framework is consistently fit for purpose
  • Define overall investment requirements and plan for the strategic product development, review annually as part of investment planning, also ongoing monitoring to ensure investment is prioritized
  • Collaborate with peers and partners in Product, Technology, Operations and Functional partners both globally and regionally to define requirements that are consistent with the product strategy while ensuring there isn’t any adverse customer experience impact
  • As an when required, support various product teams in meeting local regulatory and industry bodies including Swift, Fed, Chips, BoE, Euro and other clearing schemes

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Payments
  • Experience within an existing Fraud Strategy or Fraud Management function, including designing, developing and implementing Fraud Detection systems 
  • Experience navigating complex multi-jurisdictional change initiatives.  Decision making ability on the prioritization of Product backlog, defects resolution prioritization
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills able to influence across senior levels and cross functional teams
  • Ability to build senior relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior executives, non-executives, regulators, third parties and internal management teams 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, taking and a hands-on approach to issue resolution and program execution
  • Ability to play role as an advisor to clients and guiding sales colleagues to support clients needs
