We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Business Manager.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the development and execution of strategy for GTS Europe and Americas, working closely with country and sales heads, and data and analytics.
  • Implement well-structured and creative business development initiatives to achieve targets, with an outcome-oriented approach and a clear understanding of GTS propositions, capabilities and market positioning.
  • Help ensure finance and sales KPIs (e.g. Booked and Managed revenue, costs, returns, sales targets) are accurate in a complex data environment, helping to correct issues across the region as required.
  • Track and provide management insights on pipeline deals and sales intensity metrics, socialising Europe and Americas performance with stakeholders including outside of GTS.
  • Produce well-structured and concise content (presentations, business cases, briefing notes, strategy papers) for the GTS Europe and Americas management team.
  • Leverage a multifaceted consulting skillset to cover key adjacent areas of responsibility (e.g. data and analytics, sales practice management and performance reporting, business cases and strategy presentations).
  • Support the GTS Europe and Americas Regional Head of Business Performance on special projects and other areas of Business Management responsibility as required.

 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Highly developed strategy and management consulting skillset, consulting background
  • Proven ability to design and implement impactful business initiatives, leveraging strong skills in quantitative and qualitative reasoning
  • Able to work flexibly and at fast pace with limited information and independently formulate solutions to challenges
  • Excellent range of stakeholder management and communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
  • Proven ability to work with Analytics to identify business development opportunities based on insights into proprietary HSBC and market data
  • Multi-faceted and independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments
  • Ability to use strong judgement to resolve problems whilst achieving deadlines and high output quality
  • In-depth knowledge of GTS clients, propositions and business models across different geographies, supported by broad knowledge of trade finance trends 
  • Knowledge of the global nature of the Group’s business with strong commercial orientation combined with a customer driven approach

 

The base location of this role is London operating a Hybrid working model.
