We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst, Asset Management.
You’ll play a critical role in defining and delivering change initiatives across the Global Target Operating Model (GTOM) Programme within HSBC Asset Management. You’ll ensure the design, implementation, and on-going maintenance of a scalable, data-driven business solutions, which supports the front-to-back value chain across Alternatives asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real assets, and hedge funds.

In this role you’ll:
- Lead data orientated business analysis activities across complex change initiatives within Alternatives and its eco system platforms (e.g., Allvue, eFront, Arcesium, Anaplan, Citco Unity)
- Design and oversee data lineage, data flows, and integration frameworks across investment, operations, and risk systems as well as ensuring robust data governance and data quality standards across the Alternatives platform.
- Work closely with technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable and compliant system designs
- Partner with key stakeholders in Alternatives Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Data Management to ensure end-to-end solution coherence
- Conduct thorough data analysis and business process mapping for current state processes and target state solutions.
- Lead cross-functional architecture design sessions and working groups involving business, operations, and IT representatives
- Document business requirements and ensure data governance and data quality standards are met
To be successful in this role you’ll meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Solutions Architect covering application and data design, analysis and implementation experience including exposure to front-to-back operating models in Asset Management
- Very strong data analysis and reporting skills, including experience with SQL and other analytical tools
- High level of communication skill to be able to work with information to produce easily digestible reports
- Possess very good stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engender the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across a varied internal and external audience
- Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities
