This role will acquire, maintain and grow profitable long-term relationships with clients as defined within the scope of the team –the role is part of UK International Team catering largely to Uk resident clients within the Global India segment . The main purpose of the role is to establish new relationships and manage existing relationships in order to generate NNM (Net New Money), grow revenues across allocated portfolio, successfully manage and serve existing business relationships and originate new revenue streams. They will also need to assist the desk head in implementing the marketing and client strategy for the desk, to clear pending items, improve quality and resolve problems.
In this role you will:
- Manage an existing book of High Net Worth (HNW) & Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) within Private Bank UK's Global India segment whilst also working to challenging targets around developing new client relationships to ultimately increase revenue.
- Collaborate with a range of front office teams such as Investment Counselling, Wealth Planning, Credit Advisory & Product Specialists to enable our clients to achieve their financial goals whilst also balancing this with business requirements.
- Establish and maintain internal networks across the HSBC group to originate new business through referrals.
- Understand and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations to mitigate risk to the business.
- Work to continue to reposition the firm to higher value-added solicitation, enhancing the perception of the Bank amongst its existing and prospective clients
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- CISI/RDR Level 4 is essential with the expectation of attaining Level 6 within 12 months of joiningl
- Vast experience in managing Global India led client HNW or UHNW relationships within a UK regulated Wealth Management or Private Banking context - essential
- A proven track record of not only playing a leading role in managing existing client relationships but of also generating revenue through NNM
- Outstanding interpersonal, business development, and presentation/pitching skills
- Well organised with the ability to balance business needs with that of the clients'
