We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, CCO Governance.

Role Purpose:
Reporting into the Senior Security Manager, the jobholder is responsible for the safety and security of people and bank assets at all the bank’s UK offices.

The aim of the role is to ensure all processes systems operate successfully and that the people, premises, assets and information of HSBC UK are adequately protected, safe and secure.

The jobholder is responsible for managing the office and out of office hour shifts and additional service provider staff that are responsible for the operation of the Security Control Room (SCR) and access control.

In this role you will:

• Manage the first line response team for Security alarm (IDS) and CCTV, (SVS) monitoring for locations across UK.
 • Support and advice for all high-risk activities, safety equipment, access system and security procedures
 • Develop and implement physical security procedures designed to safeguard our employees, corporate offices, travel safety, executive protection and workplace violence prevention.
• Support the UK Head of Protective Security with the production of reports ensuring the MI is correct and produced within agreed timescales.
 • Monthly statistics and graphs to be reviewed for trends which should then be acted upon to improve matters


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Good knowledge and understanding of HSBC Security control procedures and systems is mandatory.
• Proven experience to provide response to various types of incidents involving criminal activity against staff, premises and value assets
• Prior experience in a security related role and/or financial institution is essential.
• Prior experience in a security control room or Call Centre environment.
• Line management experience with the ability to manage motivate and coach a team is desirable.

The working pattern is full time and will vary on rotation including weekends and bank holidays from 7pm – 7am.
