As a result of continued growth in the HSBC UK Wealth business, we are actively recruiting for an International Premier Relationship Manager to join our team supporting our Premier High Net Worth customers
The role of the International Premier Relationship Manager is to acquire, retain and expand relationships with International High Net Worth and Premier customers we want to bank within Wealth and Personal Banking. You will be responsible in proactively managing a portfolio of clients who are Non-UK resident supporting them with complex and specialist banking needs. Working with global stakeholders and specialist teams such as Private Bank, Expat and Mortgages.
In this role you will:
- Conduct Face to face and virtual meetings with International High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Premier clients.
- Deliver a consistent and tailored service to a portfolio of HSBC Premier clients
- Seek new opportunities and nurture existing relationships to identify new business opportunities
- Support customers, placing their needs at the forefront of all that we do, setting world class standards in wealth management services
- Focus on growing the business sustainably, by finding opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships by demonstrating HSBC's extensive network
- Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
- Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver appropriate needs-based solutions for customers and to support international customers with their everchanging global banking needs,
- Business Development activities include working in partnership with UK and global stakeholders in the markets to grow the portfolio commercially
- Adhere to structures and processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk
- Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, supervising, raising and mitigating risk
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- A proactive self-starter, who is extremely self-motivated, and success driven in providing a better experience for our international customers, is critical to the success in the role.
- Service and results driven to achieve the Bank’s ambition for growing the Premier client base and providing suitable solutions.
- A demonstrable background in effective relationship management of International HNW and Premier stakeholders
- Ability to gather, analyse and interpret comprehensive information and/or customer requirements; to provide solutions that are commercially viable and sustainable.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to manage the unexpected as well as anticipated issues or events, so that success can still be achieved
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
- Knowledge around Cross Border regulations would be desirable but not essential
The role is full time and hybrid working with. Job holder will be based within Central London. The department operates Mon-Fri and flexibility on hours within these days would be required due to business needs
