The Global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.
We have a vacancy in the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team (CX) for an Institutional Marketing Manager – this is a GCB5 level role
A key aspect role is the planning, development, and delivery of channel marketing campaigns for our Institutional distribution channel through online campaigns to support our sales efforts. You will be required to work across the spectrum of propositions and products in the HSBC Asset Management business with a specific focus on transforming complex or technical product details or concepts into marketing communications and content.

In this role you will:
- Translate business goals into impactful and effective marketing campaigns that are specifically designed to support the UK Institutional channel.
- Drive the smooth and efficient delivery of agreed activity, ensuring it is tracked and measured appropriately to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment.
- Collaborate closely with domestic and global teams within a variety of business functions to support them with content and campaign implementation.
- Liaise with Central Delivery and Product Marketing teams to ensure that the HSBC brand is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way, and that product features and benefits are correctly articulated in materials produced.
- Have a clear understanding of the project requirements and deliver to budget and other commercial objectives
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience of working within an asset management marketing setting and the ability to demonstrate a range of Brand and Marketing Communications planning and execution skills is essential.
- Have strong stakeholder attributes that engender a credibility and allow you to build collaborative relationships.
- Be extremely well organised and able to manage multiple demands on your time often with conflicting priorities.
- Commercially awareness when working to commercial objectives be able to manage a budget.
- Excellent communication and writing skills that allow you to take information from multiple channels and distil it into compelling content for various audiences.
This role has a hybrid working pattern. It is based at HSBC Offices in Canada Square, London - you must be able to work here on a weekly basis.
