We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Ultra High Net Worth Market Solutions UK, Director.

 

International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) provides a leading premium proposition through Premier Banking and, together with our Private Bank, are present across the world’s most important markets, booking centres, and corridors most valued by our clients. Part of IWPB, the UHNW Solutions Group (USG) provides tailored solutions to sophisticated UHNW clients and Family Offices, leveraging the full breadth of the HSBC Group. The team provides solutions across public and private markets, and an important source of differentiation against other wealth managers. This is an opportunity for a high calibre professional to join a high calibre team as Head of UHNW Market Solutions, UK.

In this role you will be:

 

• Leading the strategic development of the public markets solution set for UHNW clients in the UK, with a focus on bringing an Institutional level of coverage and product to Family Offices and sophisticated UHNW clients

• Marketing the solution set internally, sourcing, originating and delivering solutions to clients across Capital Markets to UHNW clients, including Structured Products, Fixed Income, FX, Equities

• Working with wider HSBC Group partners to deliver bespoke content across Alternatives, Private Credit, Global Custody, Institutionalized Family Office and Strategic Equity Financing

• Leading development of the UK platform through close collaboration with local Product development teams and business functions to achieve the global alignment

• Originating and being creative in building a solution set across asset classes, leveraging both GPB and MSS capabilities, as well as third parties through open architecture where appropriate

 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

• Strong understanding of Capital Markets, potentially having worked in a Markets role

• Experience of Alternatives would be a benefit as a key part of the mandate is growing the Alternatives business with UHNW clients

• Client-facing experience, track record of deepening relationships with UHNW clients and Family Offices a plus

• Strong collaboration skills required to build relationships internally and work with multiple stakeholders across varied business lines in HSBC

• Experience of the investment process
