We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Innovation Banking Propositions, CIB CCO.

 

CIB’s ambition encompasses to become the #1 innovation bank globally, acting as a trusted partner for equity-funded, venture backed start-ups and scale-ups and the investors who support them.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement a clear strategy for value propositions tailored to the needs of Innovation Banking clients, ensuring alignment with CIB’s overall strategic objectives;  
  • Incorporate insights from market research, client feedback, and competitor analysis to define propositions that address segment-specific opportunities and pain points; 
  • Partner with Banking, product, marketing, and digital teams to co-create and refine propositions, ensuring alignment across the organization; 
  • Lead the design of innovative solutions that incorporate products, services, and digital tools to deliver a differentiated and compelling client experience;  
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends, technologies relevant for the proposition;
  • Establish external partnerships to enhance the value delivered to Innovation Banking clients; 
  • Be responsible for the roll-out of propositions in both existing and new jurisdictions, ensuring localization to meet nuanced client needs and market conditions; 
  • Define the success metrics for propositions and establish frameworks to measure their impact on client satisfaction, segment growth, and revenue targets;
  • Continuously assessing proposition performance, using client feedback and market insights to refine and optimize offerings. 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Deep understanding of corporate banking, client segmentation, sectorisation and the end-to-end development of value propositions.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and translate them into compelling and differentiated propositions.
  • Proven ability to design and implement strategic offerings that address diverse client needs across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Have a strong mix of strategic thinking, client-centricity, and executional excellence, with the ability to balance big-picture vision with the details needed for successful delivery. 
  • Proved experience in working with cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders to drive alignment and outcomes. 
  • Skilled in using data and insights to shape propositions, measure performance, and optimize outcomes. 
  • Ability to apply design thinking principals to ideate and prototype innovative solutions.
