We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Front Office Development Coach, Private Bank.
HSBC Private Bank business provides banking, investment and wealth management solutions to help high net worth clients and their families achieve their ambitions. We also advise on topics including wealth planning, alternative investments and family governance. And our experts in philanthropy support clients in their objectives to have a positive impact on society.
The Front Office (FO) Development Coach will play a pivotal role in uplifting frontline capability and embedding a high-performance, investment-led sales culture across HSBC Private Bank. This role combines hands-on coaching with content design and facilitation, supporting Relationship Managers (RMs), Investment Counsellors (ICs), and Desk Heads to deliver consistent, client-centric advice and stronger commercial outcomes.

In this role you will:
- Deliver 1:1 and group coaching sessions with RMs, ICs, and Desk Heads focused on sales effectiveness, client engagement, and performance improvement
- Develop create sales tools, learning guides, case studies, role plays and simulation exercises that help RMs and ICs articulate the Private Bank’s value proposition with confidence
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors in the design of training materials and the implementation of the accreditation framework and ongoing learning
- Act as an advocate for a culture of continuous learning and coaching and partner with Desk Heads and senior leaders to integrate development into the team BAU
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Understanding of Private Banking, Wealth Management, or similar business area where there is a client facing, highly consultative sales process
- Proven experience in coaching, training delivery or learning design (formal coaching certification preferred) including designing role plays, case studies and other sales enablement materials
- Able to work with various forms of training materials to produce compelling and easily digestible user content
- Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engender the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across a varied internal and external audience
- Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks
