The Role
This role sits within the MI & Data team in BFA and focuses on the day-to-day delivery of accurate, timely, and well-controlled Finance MI.
It supports the build and running of automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting that underpin Finance decision making across the business.
The role is hands-on, and execution focused. You will help run core MI processes, maintain datasets and workflows, and support the production of reliable reporting, while building technical capability across Alteryx, Qlik, and Finance data.
The role is execution focused and supports established reporting cycles, datasets, and controls
The team you’ll work with:
The MI & Data team sits at the heart of BFA, providing the data foundations, automation, and insight that underpin Finance decision making. The team combines strong technical capability with a collaborative, open culture built on shared standards, transparency, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the wider Finance team and the Finance Data & Controls (FDC) team to ensure data is accurate, well governed, and aligned to KDE expectations. The team values ownership, clarity, and teamwork, and operates a no-blame environment focused on learning and delivering high-quality MI.
The value you’ll add:
You will help ensure Finance MI is accurate, reliable, and delivered consistently. Your work will support the smooth running of BAU reporting cycles, reduce manual effort through automation, and improve confidence in Finance data.
By contributing to reusable processes, workflows, and documentation, you will help strengthen the foundations of a modern MI capability while developing your own technical and Finance knowledge.
What you can expect to be doing:
Building and maintaining Alteryx workflows supporting daily, weekly, and monthly MI cycles
Maintaining consolidations, GL feeds, and staged datasets
Running BAU MI processes reliably and escalating data issues early
Building and maintaining Qlik Sense dashboard components and visualisations
Supporting MI pack production, including charts, extracts, checks, and validation
Working closely with the Finance Data & Controls team to validate data completeness and accuracy
Performing data quality checks and reconciliations aligned to Finance controls
Maintaining documentation, SOPs, and control-required evidence
Contributing reusable scripts, templates, and building blocks for MI processes
