We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Event Manager

 

In this dynamic role you'll have lots of visibility as you drive operational excellence and provide support for complex global events and conferences across UK and Europe

In this role you will

 

  • Lead the execution of local and overseas events and conferences whilst liaising with event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor liaison, schedules, and materials preparation
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support programme development and content requirements
  • Manage operational details such as registrations, rehearsals, on-site setup, and post-event follow-ups, and be responsible for creating and updating event communications and basic marketing materials
  • Be able to source internal and external speakers aligned to event agenda
  • Track timelines, action items, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution and support budget tracking, documentation, and post-event reporting

 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • A strong background in events management with practical marketing expertise is essential, ideally from within financial services
  • Exemplary stakeholder management skills are key, you'll be comfortable working with cultural differences and be confident working autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficient in using digital tools (iConference and Eventogy experience preferred)
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with clear communication, fluency in English, and strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and support the team proactively

 

Some travel is required in this role.
