We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Document Production Specialist.
This role, within HSBCs Financial Reporting team, provides support to the Head of Document Production in respect of production and controls processes of HSBC Holdings plc’s (the ‘Group’) external financial documents which are published on a quarterly basis. This includes the Annual Report and Accounts (‘ARA’), Interim Report, 1Q/3Q Earnings Release and Data Pack.
The role holder will also be expected to help the wider Financial Reporting team with any relevant process or automation initiatives using available technology that would help to create efficiency in the document production process.
The role holder will be expected to work within the parameters of the Document Production operating model, based around any relevant applications, including cloud technology.

In this role you will:
•Assist with production activity for the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts and other quarterly externally published financial documents.
•Build effective working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
•Help support the audit and controls process of HSBC’s financial documents.
•Seek ways to improve process efficiency and automation utilising new technologies.
•Thorough review of unpublished documents to identify and correct any data or narrative based errors.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
•Have a keen interest in financial reporting and data interrogation.
•Have strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to meet deadlines under significant time pressure.
•Excellent systems skills, including in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of the Wdesk application is preferred.
This role is based in London, Hybrid.
