This role will play a pivotal role within the People Strategy & Innovation function, driving the workforce analytics and reporting agenda, supporting the Head of Strategic Workforce Insights & Enablement in shaping strategy and delivery. This role leads a fungible pool of insights consultants, data scientists and advisory specialists, ensuring the organisation's leaders and stakeholders receive high-quality, data driven insights to inform strategic workforce decisions.

In this role you will:

Act as the deputy to the Head of Strategic Workforce Insights & Enablement, providing leadership across the portfolio.

Lead the design and delivery of executive-ready reporting, disclosures, and insights packs.

Shape and refine the team’s consulting approach, balancing proactive analytics with responsive business support.

Work alongside Workforce Insights & Enablement consultants to craft the forward runway and team priorities

Oversee prioritisation and resource allocation across the entire People Strategy & Innovation portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Drive continuous improvement in workforce analytics and insights methodologies.

Champion new ways of working with workforce data, including predictive modelling, scenario analysis, and data storytelling.

Ensure insights and reporting adhere to data governance, ethical use, and regulatory disclosure standards.

Collaborate across People, Strategy and Innovation, in particular the People Data Products & Platforms team to maintain alignment between insight products and platform capabilities.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Working in a team focusing on Strategy, Analytics and Insights is essential

An understanding of Analytics best practice, external trends and developments is essential

Being an expert in Agile coordinating delivery through others is essential

Ability to translate business needs and problem statements, into reporting deliverables and improvements, by partnering across People Strategy & Innovation to deliver compelling information and analytics

Experience of working in or with a People Function within a large matrix organization

Evidence of owning and delivering a book of work for data science and insights with appropriate internal governance

Leader of leaders – managed and developed ICs and managers, ideally onshore and offshore

Builds strong relationships, stakeholder management and clear communications; with a client-centric approach

Balance experimentation, automation/improvement with delivery and promote continuous improvement

Experience with Azure, Power BI technology stack a plus
