GTS provides solutions to HSBC’s customers in Corporate and Institutional Banking as well as local commercial banking customers in UK and Hong Kong to help them optimise working capital, manage counterparty risk and settle their trade transactions whether they are domestic or international and cover goods or services.

GTS has three strategic priorities, and this role addresses the second:
- Commercialise HTS to automate and grow traditional trade
- Differentiate with structured working capital solutions
- Embed our solutions through platforms and partnerships
This role is responsible for commercialising the Receivables Finance proposition, a key component of our working capital solutions. The priority is on driving commercialisation with the multi-national corporates that HSBC serves globally.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Product Rollout & Commercialisation
- Develop comprehensive product rollout and commercialisation strategy which should include:
- Direct support of front-line colleagues to win and implement high value and complex receivables finance solutions
- Product positioning
- Identify the need for and contribute to specification of marketing collateral
- Develop and deliver training for front-line colleagues
- Oversees the relationship with key stakeholders (including sales leads globally)
- Ensure Operations and Sales are briefed in regard to our product suite and any new propositions and clarity on what is the most appropriate solution.
- Sourcing product and solution feedback based on the market and customer inputs.
- Builds networks across functions, customer groups, trade associations, external influencers and regions both in and outside HSBC to provide expertise, cascade strategy and identify market trends. Share best practice and market insight.
- Inputs into the product financial planning processes at a global level for programs and AOP/MTO. Ensure delivery of agreed plans.

- Lead, motivate and inspire the team to achieve the GTS strategy and business objectives
- Establish cultural and behavioural excellence and develop high engagement across the team
- Manage the Senior Manager Commercialisation
Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced level understanding of Receivables Finance and how it is commercualised. Understanding of receivables finance capital treatment and trade credit insurance;
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels internally and externally.
- A track record in being able to lead conversations and win receivables finance business at C-suite level. The ability to challenge constructively.
- Well developed commercialisation project management skills, with experience in delivery involving multiple stakeholders;
