We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Digital Design Manager
An exciting opportunity a Digital Design Manager to join the UK Commercial Banking (CMB) Marketing team, with a focus on shaping and optimising the digital presence of the UK CMB marketing website to help grow Business Banking. This role will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding online experience for business banking customers. The Digital Design Manager will be responsible for enhancing and optimising user experience and customer journeys across the Business Banking website to support ambitious growth targets. With a focus on the needs of business banking customers, the role will create seamless, engaging, and effective digital experiences.
Collaboration with global template owners will be essential to review and enhance existing web templates, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and best-in-class design principles. The successful candidate will also engage with business stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the business banking market and its priorities, translating this insight into effective design strategies.
A key part of the role will involve close partnership with the Marketing Technology (MarTech) team, leveraging the latest digital tools and innovations to personalise and optimise the customer journey.
In this role, you will :
- Drive the continuous improvement of the UK CMB marketing website (business), with a specific emphasis on the business banking customer segment
- Analyse user behaviour and feedback to identify areas for enhancement across digital customer journeys
- Collaborate with global teams to refine and improve website templates, ensuring functionality, accessibility, and consistency with brand standards
- Work closely with the Marketing Technology team to integrate and utilise MarTech capabilities that enhance customer engagement and experience
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, product, and business functions to align digital design strategies with broader commercial objectives
- Stay informed on digital and UX trends, ensuring best practices are adopted to meet evolving customer expectations
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in digital design, UX/UI, or digital experience management within a large or complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design, accessibility standards, and responsive web development
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, design systems, analytics tools, and marketing technology platforms
- A strategic, data-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer outcomes and a proven ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Understanding of digital compliance and risk in a regulated industry like financial services
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
This is a hybrid role and can be based in London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds or Chester
