Job description

We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager in HSBC Private Bank Central Marketing Team and will shape and deliver premium content programmes across the funnel—raising brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting commercial growth across regions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel content marketing and thought leadership programmes across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Build distinctive content platforms around priority themes (e.g., international connectivity, entrepreneurs, multi-generational families) and tailor strategies for key audiences (Next Gen, UHNW, Family Offices).
  • Partner with Private Bank subject matter experts to create “house views” and translate them into high-impact campaigns and assets (reports, web copy, toolkits, social content).
  • Identify, negotiate and deliver external collaborations/partnerships that expand reach and credibility with priority audiences.
  • Manage agencies and suppliers end-to-end, including briefing, quality control, timelines, budget oversight and performance reporting.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and track KPIs to quantify impact, optimise activity, and manage reputational risk—ensuring content meets regulatory and cross-border requirements.

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in content marketing and campaign development in Private Banking, with exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking: able to unpack business challenges, map trends/insights, and turn them into compelling, differentiated content plans.
  • Confident stakeholder manager with experience working across matrixed, global organisations and collaborating across regions and disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content distribution (organic and paid), including what drives engagement and cut-through.
  • High standards and attention to detail, with the ability to challenge constructively and protect a premium brand experience.
  • Resilient, organised and comfortable managing multiple programmes at pace; experience in wealth/investments marketing is desirable.
