We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Climate and ESG Content Lead.
The role holder will be expected to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders including Group External Communications, Strategic Planning, Content and Channels team, Communications Business and Markets, Global Brand, Marketing and Global Sustainability.

In this role you will:
•Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive content strategies that align with HSBC's ESG objectives.
•Work in partnership with communications and marketing teams to create and activate content that supports the net zero transition and other ESG campaigns.
•Develop both campaign-led and tactical content, including media lines, to proactively and reactively address sustainability topics.
•Conduct research and gather insights on ESG trends, stakeholder expectations, and industry best practices. Using this information to inform content strategies and ensure that HSBC remains at the forefront of ESG communications.
•Explore and implement innovative content formats and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate ESG messages. Leverage multimedia, interactive content, and emerging technologies to engage diverse audiences.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
•Knowledge of current sustainability trends, challenges, and opportunities within the financial sector and broader industry contexts.
•Expertise in developing and executing content strategies that effectively communicate ESG priorities and initiatives to diverse audiences.
•Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, regulatory bodies, and NGOs, regarding ESG topics.
•Skills in conducting research and analysing data to inform ESG content strategies and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
•Skills in managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
This role is based in London, Hybrid.
