We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Client Director.
You'll report to the Regional Head of Client Management within Global Trade Solutions and is responsible for looking after a portfolio of Receivables Finance and Trade clients, managing their facilities with us and ensuring all risks presented are mitigated whilst also identifying opportunities to grow their business with us.

In this role you will:
- Act as the face of the bank, positioning us as the key Global Trade Solutions provider
- Assist in establishing new client relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
- Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
- Support plans and strategies to generate new business for both ‘new to bank’ and existing customers in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
- Protect the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence revies
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Ability to interact with business customers at a senior and strategic level
- Evidence of managing high value, complex working capital facilities
- Working knowledge of Global Trade services, products and techniques
- Detailed knowledge of Financial Crime Risk and Credit Risk including techniques to mitigate risk
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
