The PB UK COO is a strategic partner to the PB UK CEO and the Global Private Banking and Wealth & Premier Solutions COO. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, business performance, and strategic execution in the PB UK Hub. You will ensure robust governance, effective risk management, and alignment with Global Private Banking (GPB) standards, while enabling growth through scalable infrastructure, efficient processes, and strategic initiatives.

In this role you will:
- Support the PB UK CEO and work closely with the Global COO function to translate the PB strategy into execution within the risk appetite set by PB
- Drive implementation of global and regional strategic priorities, including growth initiatives, business transformation, and digitization efforts e.g. leading the development and execution of innovative solutions to meet needs of our clients and the rapidly changing technology landscape
- Lead regional business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across direct and indirect cost in collaboration with business CAO and Finance and other service providers
- Oversee front-to-back processes, ensuring continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and service-level excellence
- Manage Transformation delivery for PB in the UK Market and to ensure transformation initiatives are fully embedded, creating sustainable change
- Serve as the key control partner for the business, ensuring adherence to regulatory, conduct, and operational risk frameworks
- Partner with HR and Business Heads on workforce planning, hiring plans, and talent initiatives
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Extensive experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management, with significant exposure to COO or Business Management type roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, operational risk, and front-to-back processes in Private Banking
- Demonstrable success in leading complex projects, managing senior stakeholders, and driving transformation
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on delivering to high standards and quality as well as the ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for own action
- Excellent leadership and management ability with a proven track record of managing large and diverse teams across different locations
