Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business & Female Proposition Manager to join HSBC Private Bank. This role is a unique blend of proposition leadership and business management. You’ll help shape and scale our Women in Wealth segment globally, while also acting as a key partner to the Distribution leadership team—overseeing BAU through an offshore team and driving strategic initiatives onshore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the Women in Wealth proposition, ensuring clear strategy and consistent global implementation.
  • Build deep insight into female client needs, segmentation and market dynamics to inform client coverage and engagement.
  • Partner across Private Banking and Group stakeholders (Proposition, Distribution, regional front office, WPS, Wealth Planning, IWPB, COO) to deliver products, services and capabilities.
  • Act as strategic enablement / “chief of staff” support to Distribution leadership: roadmaps, milestones, leadership forums, offsites and exec updates.
  • Lead business performance delivery via an offshore team: cost and workforce management, scorecards, performance packs, forecasting and deep dives (OD/WFP/FRP/run-rate).
  • Support a strong risk and control culture, including cross-border data awareness, and manage Distribution policy/procedure ownership and governance.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in private banking/wealth management and strong commercial judgement.
  • Demonstrable track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail; comfortable owning budgets, forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills; able to work autonomously and deliver to high standards.
  • Collaborative, inclusive leadership style with situational influence across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
