We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Brokerage Proposition Manager.
The Brokerage Proposition Manager will oversee the development, improvement, and management of our brokerage services for all customer segments. You will oversee the enhancing and delivery of brokerage capabilities for our wealth platform. Working closely with the head of brokerage and technology, you will help us achieve our goal of becoming a leading wealth manager by delivering exceptional brokerage services. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, market knowledge, business skills, and product expertise to establish our brokerage service as a market leader.

In this role you will:
• Partner and collaborate with the Proposition Product Owners, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver the brokerage proposition strategy, aligning with business growth targets and customer needs and ensuring the requirements Definition is completed (Facilitating, Challenging and Documenting) – this includes:
o Epic confirmation
o User Story creation
o Refinement with Architectural/Development teams
• Own the brokerage proposition lifecycle & backlog, from ideation to launch to ongoing optimisation.
• Work closely with Customer Research, Data & Analytics, Commercialisation, Digital Experience and UX to embed insight-led design in proposition development
• Ensure the proposition adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA rules) and maintain strong governance, managing risks and controls related to the brokerage service and that is it competitive as well as commercially viable.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Deep brokerage knowledge with prior experience of acting as a proposition manager or product owner at other firms
• Skilled in market analysis, customer insight, and proposition design. Strong understanding of retail investing, trading platforms, and brokerage operations.
• Commercial mindset with a track record of delivering growth and improving customer outcomes. Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of the full wealth continuum—from self-directed investing to adviser-led propositions. Strong agile delivery experience and ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced backlog. Experience of implementing customer-first self-directed digital journeys and features.
• Knowledge of FCA framework impacting retail investing e.g. Consumer Duty, PROD (Product Oversight & Governance), and COBS (Conduct of Business Sourcebook).
