We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, QIS Structuring
The quantitative investment strategies (QIS) volatility structurer is responsible for designing and marketing volatility and options-based strategies that are systematic and rules-based across asset classes and investment styles. This role involves working at the intersection of quantitative finance, derivatives structuring, and market analytics to create bespoke solutions for clients, often leveraging advanced quantitative models and innovative financial engineering techniques. The position is highly collaborative, requiring interaction with trading desks, sales teams, legal, quant and IT teams

In this role you will:
- Design of QIS Cross-Asset Strategies across equity, rates, FX & Multi-Asset), with a focus on equity volatility
- Create quantitative frameworks for different investments styles targeting different investments objectives: risk premia, enhanced beta, asset allocation and hedging and Enhance and refine indices and quantitative models
- Analyse market dynamics and quantitative signals to assess the performance of strategies under various market conditions and back test and stress test strategies using historical data
- Collaborate with sales teams to market QIS strategies to a broad range of investors
- Prepare detailed and compelling pitch materials, presentations, and performance summaries tailored to client objectives
- Educate clients on quantitative investment strategies and on how systematic strategies can help achieving the investment objectives
- Engage with clients, in collaboration with sales, to understand their risk-return profiles, investment horizons, and constraints
- Propose tailored strategies that align with specific client needs and identify market trends and client demands to create new opportunities for systematic strategies
- Oversee the implementation of systematic strategies, ensuring accurate model deployment and execution in real-time markets
- Partner with trading desks to execute rebalancing, portfolio hedging, and other strategy-related actions and build or enhance existing tools to automate and streamline the implementation of systematic strategies
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience within Financial Markets and thorough knowledge and understanding of derivatives related products
- Proven work experience within the quantitative investment strategy sector, with a focus on structuring
- Good overview on regulation and accounting, including upcoming changes which impact the industry
- Possesses an excellent quantitative and technological skill-set, with a preference for advanced academic qualifications in technical/STEM subjects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with very strong analytical skills
