The Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Volatility Structurer is responsible for designing and marketing volatility and options-based strategies that are systematic and rules-based across asset classes and investment styles. This role involves working at the intersection of quantitative finance, derivatives structuring, and market analytics to create bespoke solutions for clients, often leveraging advanced quantitative models and innovative financial engineering techniques. The position is highly collaborative, requiring interaction with trading desks, sales teams, legal, quant and IT teams.

In this role you will:

 

• Development of Innovative volatility and options-based Strategies, tesearch and develop systematic investment strategies across equity, interest rates, and FX markets. Create quantitative frameworks for different investments styles targeting different investments objectives: risk premia, portfolio overlay and hedging. Enhance and refine indices and quantitative models.
• Analyse market dynamics and quantitative signals to assess the performance of strategies under various market conditions. Back test and stress test strategies using historical data
• Collaborate with sales teams to market QIS volatility strategies to broad range of investors. Prepare detailed and compelling pitch materials, presentations, and performance summaries tailored to client objectives. Educate clients on quantitative investment strategies and on how systematic strategies can help achieving the investment objectives.
• Engage  with clients, in collaboration with Sales, to understand their risk-return profiles, investment horizons, and constrain. Propose tailored strategies that align with specific client needs and identify market trends and client demands to create new opportunities for systematic strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of systematic strategies, ensuring accurate model deployment and execution in real-time markets. Partner with trading desks to execute rebalancing, portfolio hedging, and other strategy-related actions and monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to client-specific guidelines and benchmarks


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

• Extensive experience with Financial Markets and and thorough knowledge of derivatives products across markets.
• Proven work experience within the Quantitative Investment Stragey field, with a focus on volitil and options-based strategies.
• Good overview on regulation and accounting, including upcoming changes which impact the industry.
• Good understanding of different client business models.
• Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
