We are currently seeking a professional to join our Institutional Client Wealth team as an Associate.

The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. In this role you will be expected to:

  • Contribute to the identification of sales opportunities that address specific needs for clients and managing from identification to point of sale
  • Contribute to maintenance of business relationships with accounts in assigned area of responsibility
  • Assist the team in the efficient marketing of products to their client base and in achieving both Financial and Qualitative annual objectives to their client base
  • Share relevant market, customer and counter-party intelligence with colleagues in the HSBC network, in order that the Group derives maximum benefit from its networking potential
  • Support the day to day operations of the desk
  • Maintain complete records of client orders and execution
  • Provide the team management with required management information, in order to inform decision making

 

To be successful you will demonstrate the following:

  • Have a deep knowledge of SED’s and how they are structured
  • French language skills are highly desirable
  • Product knowledge, pricing and selling QIS Investment strategies
  • It is a pre-requisite that you have gained extensive experience of working with Private Banks, Wealth Managers and how they support the investment needs of their client base
  • Outstanding relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders with an ability to engender the trust and confidence of a trusted advisor
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to understand the structures of complex organisations and successfully navigate commercial negotiations.
  • Good knowledge of financial services Risk & Governance and the appropriate controls used in a Front Office setting
