Analyst Hedge Fund Rates Sales

We are currently hiring for an Analyst – Hedgefund Rates Sales

This role contributes to the identification of sales opportunities and maintenance of business relationships, focusing on specific customer requirements.

The role holder will:

• Contribute to identification of sales opportunities that address specific needs for clients and managing from identification to point of sale
• Contribute to maintenance of business relationships with accounts in assigned area of responsibility
• Assist the team in the efficient marketing of products to their client base and in achieving both Financial and Qualitative annual objectives to their client base
• Share relevant market, customer and counter-party intelligence with colleagues in the HSBC network, in order that the Group derives maximum benefit from its networking potential
• Support the day to day operations of the desk and own any administrative tasks for the desk

Required Skills/Experience

• Previous sales experience
• Keen attitude to learn and develop
• Experience of fixed income
• Understanding and experience working in global markets
• Background in economics desirable
• Previous front office experience
